If you haven’t signed up yet to bring a meal to Toby & Cassie to help them out while they adjust to a new baby and would like to, please go to Use the login of 23096 and the security code of 6845. This is a great way to support them!

  • We’ve been getting lax with our start time, but we will be starting promptly at 10:45 AM on Sundays from now on even if there are only 10 people there. We hope you’ll join us!
  • Thanks to the Avinks and Smiths, The Meeting Place has a slightly new layout that we hope will be much more conducive to fellowship before and after the service:
  • The cocktail tables are gone, the beverage bar is new and improved, and the lounge area is in the far back
  • We hope you enjoy the redesigned space for mingling, but when the lights go off please take a seat as far forward and to the sides as you can
  • From now on the lounge area with couches is reserved for families with small children or people with genuine needs (not late-comers)
  • Let’s steward our space well and clean up (i.e. don’t leave our hoodies in the closet, stuff in the fridge, etc…) Thanks to the Hardys next week all the carpets will be cleaned in The Meeting Place

This Sunday we start into the book of Exodus! See you there…

October is Chicago Artists Month! Check out the 2nd Fridays open house in the Chicago Arts District (Halsted and 18th) and the 18th Street Pilsen Open Studios to see some visual art in the UIC Area… maybe even buy something??
