We give at Christmas because at the first Christmas God gave us a very special gift in His son, Jesus!

At this year’s Christmas Party (12/11), we would like to give a special gift to the children at LYDIA Home in Chicago. LYDIA is a Christian home for orphans and foster kids that has been sharing Christ with families and kids for over a century. Their Chicago location houses 40 children from ages 7 to 16, and, as you can imagine, each of these children have a Christmas wish list.

We will be collecting new, unwrapped gifts, with receipts at our Christmas Party this year for distribution to the LYDIA Home kids. I have a list of their names, ages, favorite teams/colors/etc, and their specific wish lists.

If you are interested in contributing to a gift or purchasing a gift for one or more kids, please email Anna Wagler, at mrsannawagler. She will email you a child’s information and you can bring your unwrapped gift with a note to the child to our Christmas Party for collection.

This is a great opportunity for your Small Group, roommates, friends, or family to get together and give to someone who may not have anyone shopping for him/ her.

Please email Anna at mrsannawagler for more information or questions.
