This Saturday (6/1) is the first Saturday of June!
That means Joint Outreach. If you have from 11:00 to 1:00 free this Saturday, come on out and get to know our neighbors who hang out behind The Meeting Place.
Save the date for the annual Immanuel Summer Retreat! July 26th – 28th we will be gathering at Streator Baptist Camp for a fun-filled weekend away from the city.
Activities will begin Friday evening and will wrap up Sunday afternoon.
If you are considering attending please let Cyndi know as soon as possible! We would like to get a rough estimate of how many to expect for planning purposes.

On the first and third Saturdays of the month people from the three churches that use The Meeting Place join up to serve our neighbors who hang out in the back. We grill food, build relationships, and have intentional gospel conversations. Feel free to come by tomorrow (5/18) from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. If you have any questions, contact our Deacon of Outreach at outreach.
(1) The 2nd Annual UIC Area Fun Run (5K) for International Missions is this Saturday!
It’s a great way to support our missionaries – the Hongs and the Haywards!
Meet at The Meeting Place at 9:00 AM, rain or shine (if it’s raining we will at least spend some time praying for our missionaries).
The suggested donation is $25 each. All proceeds go to the Hongs and Haywards.

(2) The Joint Outreach is later that day at 11:00 AM.
(3) And then the Waglers are celebrating Philip’s birthday this Saturday with a backyard BBQ, and you are invited at 3:00 PM. Let Anna know if you think you’ll make it.
Monthly All-Church Prayer Meeting is tonight from 6:45 to 8:00 PM at The Meeting Place. Childcare provided. See you there!
