Yesterday’s Table Talk was a great kick-off to a year of reading!

Tony Reinke’s description of The Inklings explains what Table Talks will be like the rest of 2014:

The Inklings model is pretty simple: bring what occupies your mind and read it aloud. Stimulating the minds of others and generating conversation makes it possible to learn from one another. (Lit!, p. 160).

So start reading with a mind towards sharing.

If you want some help in finding good (non-fiction, Christian) books to read, below are some recommendations from the elders. This list is not exhaustive, it’s not an endorsement of everything that’s in each book, and it’s not a list of the best books overall – it’s restricted to books about each of our church’s Core Values.
