WELCOME & CALL TO WORSHIP
Songs –
“You Are Good” by Israel Houghton
“Open the Eyes of My Heart” by Paul Baloche
CONFESSION OF SIN
Almighty and most merciful Father,
we have erred and strayed from Your ways like lost sheep,
we have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts,
we have offended against Your holy laws,
we have left undone those things which we ought to have done,
and we have done those things which we ought not to have done.
But You, O Lord, have mercy upon us,
spare those who confess their faults,
restore those who are repentant,
according to Your promise declared to humankind in Christ Jesus our Lord;
and grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake,
that we may hereafter live a godly, righteous, and sober life,
to the glory of Your holy Name. Amen.
ASSURANCE OF PARDON
Song –
“Christ is Risen” by Matt Maher
AFFIRMATION OF FAITH – The Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into hell and on the third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Leader:
What is your only comfort in life and in death?
Congregation:
That I am not my own,
but belong – body and soul, in life and in death –
to my faithful Savior, Jesus Christ.
He has fully paid for my sins with his precious blood,
And has set me free from the tyranny of the devil.
He also watches over me in such a way
That not a hair can fall from my head
Without the will of my Father in heaven;
In fact, all things must work together for my salvation.
Because I belong to him,
Christ, by his Holy Spirit,
Assures me of eternal life
And makes me wholeheartedly willing and ready
From now on to live for him.
Song –
“Rejoice” by Dustin Kensrue

POSTLUDE – “God is Good” by Dustin Kensrue
Just a reminder that this Sunday is the third Sunday of February and that means Table Talk.
Table Talks this year will be opportunities for people to bring selections from their own personal reading to share and discuss with the group. Fiction or non-fiction; Christian or non-Christian. And even if you don’t have anything to share, you can still come and participate.
If you have a snippet for this Sunday, please let Nathan know so he can gauge how it will go. We’ll be sticking around The Meeting Place and having chili.
PRELUDE – “The Rock Won’t Move” by Vertical Church Band
WELCOME & CALL TO WORSHIP –
Reading – Psalm 95:1-7
Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the LORD is the great God, the great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. 6 Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.

CONFESSION OF SIN –
Most merciful God,
we confess that we have sinned against You
in thought, word, and deed,
by what we have done,
and by what we have left undone.
We have not loved You with our whole heart;
we have not love our neighbors as ourselves.
We are truly sorry and we humbly repent.
For the sake of Your Son Jesus Christ,
have mercy on us and forgive us;
that we may delight in Your will,
and walk in Your ways,
to the glory of Your Name. Amen.
