Hi Everyone!
Just as a reminder: The Meeting Place Spring Cleaning will be starting tomorrow around 9:00 AM (Prayer Meeting is at 8:00 AM; Worship Team will be rehearsing from 9:00 to 10:00 AM)!
We will want to do our normal cleaning duties and hit a few things that needed touch up and repair as well as deep cleaning.
These areas include touching up stains in the carpet, dusting places that normally do not get cleaned, washing all of the glass windows, organizing the shelves & closets, cleaning the coffee area, the visitors center, organizing the Kids Corner, touch up paint, weed, mulch, & landscape around the trees in front, clean up all trash around the building, weed-wack around the building, organizing the chairs and the Bibles, cleaning around the stage and instruments and anything else that we can do to make the place into an inviting house of worship.
Thank you all for participating!

PRELUDE – “The Glory of God (Not To Us)” by Shai Linne
WELCOME & CALL TO WORSHIP –
“Not to us, O LORD, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness. Why do the nations say, ‘Where is their God?’ Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him” (Ps. 115:1-3).
Song –
“Not To Us” by Chris Tomlin
CONFESSION OF SIN –
LEADER:
God of everlasting love,
we confess that we have been unfaithful
to our covenant with you and with one another.
We have lived for our own glory and not yours alone.
We have worshipped other gods: money, power, greed, and convenience.
We have served our own self-interest
instead of serving only you and your people.
We have not loved our neighbors as you have commanded.
PEOPLE:
Forgive us, gracious God,
and bring us back into the fullness
of our covenant with you and one another.
Through Christ, our Lord.

PRAYER
THE LORD’S PRAYER –
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our debts,
As we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory,
Forever and ever. Amen.

PRELUDE – “Great is the Day” by Kevin Terry
WELCOME & CALL TO WORSHIP –
“O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.” (Ps. 63:1-4)
Song –
“Our Great God” by Fernando Ortega and Mac Powell
CONFESSION OF SIN –
Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not count against him and in whose spirit there is no deceit. When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord”—and you forgave the guilt of my sin. (Ps. 32:1-6)
ASSURANCE OF PARDON –
“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.” – 1 Peter 2:24

Don’t forget that there’s now a regular gathering of people at 8:00 AM at The Meeting Place for prayer on Saturdays…
This Sunday is the last Sunday to donate books, CDs, and DVDs in any condition to help create transitional jobs for adults in poverty for Chapter Two – a book recycling social enterprise of The Cara Program.
Also, please bring your used batteries to church for recycling to help Lawrie with her high school biology project.
Don’t forget that Table Talk is on the third Sunday of every month – which means this upcoming Sunday!
Table Talks are round table discussions of some topic of theology and the Christian life over lunch and open to anyone.
This year we started off with a challenge to read more. In January we read a book about reading called Lit! and discussed it. Since then Table Talks have been opportunities to bring a sample of something you’ve been reading to share with the group and discuss. So come ready with something. Or just come and participate.
Please RSVP so we can gauge how much food to have.

ASSURANCE OF PARDON –
“He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. AFFIRMATION OF FAITH
We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into hell and on the third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
