PRELUDE – “O the Blood” by The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir

WELCOME & CALL TO WORSHIP – Psalm 95:1-2

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord;

let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!

Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;

let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!

Song –

Jesus, My Only Hope” by Mark Altrogge

CONFESSION OF SIN –

Almighty and merciful God,

we have erred and strayed from your ways like lost sheep.

We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts.

We have offended against your holy laws.

We have left undone those things which we ought to have done;

and we have done those things which we ought not to have done.

O Lord, have mercy upon us.

Spare those who confess their faults.

Restore those who are penitent,

according to your promises declared to the world

in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

And grant, O merciful God, for his sake, that we may live a holy, just, and humble life

to the glory of your holy name.

Amen.

Song –

Have Mercy on Me” by Dale Bischof and Pat Sczebel

ASSURANCE OF PARDON – Romans 5:6-10

While we were still weak,

at the right time

Christ died for the ungodly.

For one will scarcely die for a righteous person

though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—

but God shows his love for us in that

while we were still sinners,

Christ died for us.

Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood,

much more shall we be saved by him

from the wrath of God.

Song –

But God” by Michael Bleecker, Hunter Hall, and Lauren Chandler

PRAYER

THE LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be Your name.

Your kingdom come.

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts,

As we forgive our debtors.

And do not lead us into temptation,

But deliver us from the evil one.

For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.

Amen.

CHILDREN’S BLESSING & DISMISSAL – New City Catechism Q34

Since we are redeemed by grace alone,

through Christ alone,

must we still do good works

and obey God’s Word?

Yes, so that our lives may show love and gratitude to God,

and so that by our godly behavior others may be won to Christ.
