PRELUDE —  “All Who Are Thirsty” by Brenton Brown

WELCOME & CALL TO WORSHIP – Psalm 9:1-2

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
    I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.
I will be glad and exult in you;
    I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

CONFESSION OF SIN – Dan. 9:18-19

When Daniel saw the judgement of God upon his people, he prayed

O my God, incline your ear and hear.

Open your eyes and see our desolations, andthe city that is called by your name.

For we do not present our pleas before you because of our righteousness,

but because of your great mercy.

O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive.

O Lord, pay attention and act.

Delay not, for your own sake, O my God,

because your city and your people are called by your name.”

Let’s take a moment to also confess our sins and repent before the Lord our God.

ASSURANCE OF PARDON – Ps. 103:8-12

Hear this assurance of Pardon from Ps. 103:8-12

The Lord is merciful and gracious,
    slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
He will not always chide,
    nor will he keep his anger forever.
He does not deal with us according to our sins,
    nor repay us according to our iniquities.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
    so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;
as far as the east is from the west,
    so far does he remove our transgressions from us.
