WELCOME & CALL TO WORSHIP – Colossians 3:16

Paul commands the household of God in Col. 3

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly,

teaching and admonishing one another

in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,

with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Let’s stand and sing with thankfulness to the Lord our God.

All Praise to Him” by Bob Kauflin and Matt Merker

CONFESSION OF SIN – 1 John 1:8-9

God’s word declares to us:

“If we claim to be without sin,

We deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.”

God’s word also assures us:

“If we confess our sins,

He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins

And purify us from all unrighteousness.”

No one can look into the mirror of Scripture without seeing the sin in their own hearts and lives. But the good news is that through Jesus’ death, God provides forgiveness and cleansing to all who turn to him. Let’s take some time and confess our sins to God.

AFFIRMATION OF FAITH – New Hampshire Confession of 1833 Article IV

Let’s confess our shared faith together. This is from our Church statement of faith Article IV.

(Read Together Aloud)

IV. Of The Way Of Salvation

We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholly of grace;

through the mediatorial offices of the Son of God;

who by the appointment of the Father, freely took upon him our nature, yet without sin;

honored the divine law by his personal obedience,

and by his death made a full atonement for our sins;

that having risen from the dead he is now enthroned in heaven;

and uniting in his wonderful person the tenderest sympathies with divine perfections,

he is every way qualified to be a suitable, a compassionate, and an all-sufficient Savior.
