PRELUDE –
“My Shepherd Will Supply My Need” by Isaac Watts
WELCOME & CALL TO WORSHIP – Psalm 95:6-7
Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!
For he is our God,
and we are the people of his pasture,
and the sheep of his hand.
SONG –
“Great Is Thy Faithfulness” by Thomas Obediah Chisholm and William Marion Runyan
CONFESSION OF SIN
(please read aloud)
Almighty and most merciful Father,
we have erred and strayed from Your ways like lost sheep.
We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts.
We have offended against Your holy laws.
We have left undone those things which we ought to have done;
and we have done those things which we ought not to have done;
and there is no health in us.
O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders.
Spare those, O God, who confess their faults.
Restore those who are penitent;
according to Your promises declared unto mankind in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Grant that we may hereafter live a godly, righteous, and sober life;
to the glory of His holy name.
Amen.

“Come Ye Sinners Poor and Needy” by Fernando Ortega, John Andrew Schreiner, and Joseph Hart
ASSURANCE OF PARDON – Psalm 32:3-5 NIV
When I kept silent,
my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long.
For day and night
your hand was heavy on me;
my strength was sapped
as in the heat of summer.
Then I acknowledged my sin to you
and did not cover up my iniquity.
I said, “I will confess
my transgressions to the Lord.”
And you forgave
the guilt of my sin.

SCRIPTURE READING – Psalm 23
(please stand for the reading of God’s Word and respond with, “Thanks be to God”)
A Psalm of David.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
